Mexicali
was founded years later on March 14, 1903, when Mr. Manuel
Vizcarra was entitled as the first authority of the City. Most of
the founders arrived to this land to work in the installation of
the irrigation system of the Colorado River. The “Colorado River
Land Company” was the company that led this project and later
promoted the leasing of the land for cotton development.
Nowadays, the city has an extension of 13, 607 square kilometers
and a population around the 850,000 inhabitants. The hot climate
to practice sports outside. This City counts with the most sunny
days throughout the year.
Mexicali, today is a city of warm and hardworking people. It’s a
land of opportunities and progress with an obvious tendency
